Recipe: Mary Mary’s Whisky Highball

Proof Creative’s Senior Bar Consultant, Charlie Ainsbury, picked this cocktail as his favourite from the menu of Hobart’s Mary Mary.

Whisky Highball

Ingredients:

50ml Tasmanian whisky (frozen)
90ml Two Metre Tall Brewery sparkling mead
2.5ml Fresh lemon juice
A spear of ice (a long ice block will work)
Garnish: herb of your choice (Mary Mary uses wattle leaf)

Directions:

Add whisky and lemon juice to a chilled highball glass
Add ice spear or long ice cube
Top with sparkling mead
Garnish and enjoy
